In Tiny Chef: Potager, you play as Maisy, a young woman around five inches tall with a talent for cooking and foraging. As Maisy, the forest becomes your kitchen garden as you fight for and cook at your restaurant, helping customers one at a time. In this short prototype, follow the story of the mouse, Pickle, a story about friendship, as you help him rediscover his forgotten signature and favorite recipe.

We unfortunately weren't able to implement much of a tutorial or anything, so here's some tips if you get confused by our somewhat unintuitive UI and mechanics:

• All items you need to cook with are dropped by enemies. They all use the same loot table with an equal chance to drop each item. Sorry if you're getting unlucky, it's happened to me multiple times now!
• To get recipes, you need to talk to the NPCs scattered around the world after speaking to Pickle in the restaurant. Unfortunately there is no pickup notification, but if you look in your recipes page in the main menu you will see them!
• To cook, you need to go to the kitchen and interact with the countertop!
• To add an item to be cooked, you have to select one of the slots, press the "Select Item To Use" button, pick an item, and then select the correct preparation method according to the recipe. Sorry this part is confusing!
